For our Saturday night dinner, we've chosen one of Omaha's most popular, neighborhood restaurants. In a city known for its Italian steak houses, Piccolo's has survived, after many others have closed. It has stuck to the same family owned formula, for over fifty years: serve the neighborhood customer the best steak in town and keep it simple and affordable.

It's become known recently as one of Warren Buffett's favorite places in Omaha. We like it because its like going to an old friend's house for dinner and we hope it will be a great place for our Saturday night together.

After Dinner: A trip to Omaha's Old Market

On our way back to the hotel, the shuttles will make a stop at Ted & Wally's ice cream. This local business is a hot spot and well known for their wide variety of homemade ice creams. Every day's menu is a surprise, depending on the ingredients available and the whim of the cooks!

Besides the usual varieties of chocolate and vanilla flavors, you might want to indulge in the always wonderful cinnamon, or try peppermint chip, Dutch chocolate, Cinnamon Grape Nuts, Quitcherjobandeatchocolate, key lime, cinnamon graham cracker or many others.
