Shuttle Schedule:
Early shuttles will leave from hotel at 2:30, 2:45 and 3:00 for those who would like brief campus tours of St. John’s Church and the Skutt Student Center/Kiewit Fitness Center. 

Later shuttles will leave the hotel at 3:15, 3:30 and 3:45 will head straight for the meeting at the Skutt Student Center, Room 104.

On Saturday, display tables will be set up for any mission and identity material you might want to share from your school. Please bring your materials to the meeting on Saturday morning.
(It's at the other end of campus from our Friday gathering.)

4:10 p.m.         Icebreaker -
One person from each campus will give a Two-Minute Update on a highlight or challenge from the past year.  Other representatives from that university will introduce themselves at this time.

In the mood for a late night pizza? A sports bar is one block directly west of the hotel at the Holiday Inn.

6:00 a.m.         Hot breakfast service begins at hotel

7:30 a.m.         Shuttles begin to Harper Center on campus and will leave at 7:30; 7:45; 8:00 and 8:15.

As people in ministry, we take time out from helping our colleagues grow in the mission.  In this session, we will reflect, discuss and share what sustains us in the mission. 

  • What are the graces that have sustained us in ministry?Harper Center
  • What are the best practices we have found to keep us balanced?
  • When am I at my best in this ministry/mission work?

Tenure and Promotion are vexing issues because they have been separated from Mission.  The professional literature indicates that mission has to be the driving force. What does that mean on our campuses?

6:30 p.m.         Shuttle for dinner, Meet Shuttles at Deglman Circle, outside of Creighton Hall

Dinner at Piccolo Pete’s one of Omaha’s traditional family-owned Italian  steakhouses.  Opened in 1933, it has welcomed generations of diners.  Warren Buffett is a regular and always tops off his meal with a root beer float.

After Dinner: The shuttles will stop on the way back to the hotel for those who want to stroll Omaha’s Old Market area and sample some local ice cream at Ted & Wally’s. You can get back on the shuttle and head back to the hotel, or wander the Old Market and call the hotel shuttle (402-345-5500) for a ride home later.

7:30 – 9 a.m.   Optional breakfast meeting with Ed Peck for ICP Coordinators at hotel, before shuttles to airport.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Pick up your hot breakfast and head into the meeting room adjacent to the breakfast area. Make arrangements for your airport shuttle at the front desk.
