Eugene E. Selk
Associate Professor of Philosophy
More about me:

I grew up in a small town in eastern Wisconsin, New Holstein, and attended Marquette University where I received a doctorate in 1971.  I received a teaching position at Creighton and have been here ever since.  I still delight in teaching undergraduates.  My teaching and research specialties are philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, and aesthetics.

I am married to Jane Francis, who is also from Wisconsin.  We have two married daughters and five grandchildren.  My wife is a school psychologist for the Omaha Public Schools.

My wife and I love to travel, and she usually is tolerates my absorption (she would say total) with photography.  Our other love is art (you may have noticed the images with my reflections); we gravitate to the art museums in all of the cities we visit.
