I came to Creighton in 1994 and have served in various positions within the development office.

More about me:

I am a SWM, never married, who enjoys going out with friends or spending the evening at home with a good book. I have no cats. I enjoy sports-watching, movie-going and poetry-slamming. In my spare time, I play blues on trumpet and take long walks in the woods.

I have a degree in speech communication and philosophy from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and have done graduate work in electronic commerce at Creighton. I grew up on a farm in Western Kansas, and in a former life was a copy editor and reporter for various newspapers.

Writing these reflections:

Writing these reflections is a bit nerve-racking. It's very much like painting a house in your underwear. You're doing a job that everyone will see while trying not to be too self-conscious about how exposed you are. It's a good thing I believe that God can and does speak through any of us if we are willing.
