| More about me: My undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Theology and my doctorate is in Social Psychology. In my professional life, I have always tried to work to integrate psychology and theology. This is why my research interests are in happiness and the psychology of religion. I feel extremely blessed to be working with the Cardoner program at Creighton. (Cardoner is a river in Spain where St. Ignatius had a brilliant enlightment in case you are wondering.) Cardoner works with all of Creighton's students, undergraduate and graduate, as well as our faculty, staff, and alumni. Our programs are aimed at fostering a more intentional sense of life purpose, at discerning, renewing, and further responding to our vocation-as-calling. In my free time, I love to play racquetball, enjoy movies and an occasional
fine dining experience. I love live theater and hanging out with family
and friends. |

| Writing these reflections: Doing the online reflections is a humbling experience for me. With my work, I am used to empowering other people to share their reflections, their lives, their hopes and fears. I feel honored to have the chance in this venue to share my own reflections on the daily readings. In the short time I have been at Creighton, I have learned so much about Ignatian Spirituality. The examen, the spiritual exercises, and the Ignatian model of discernment have changed my life. I am delighted to be able to give a little back to the spiritual community that has fed and nourished me so well. And, there is definitely one thing I have learned in my work thus far
that fits for me to share with you: if there is anything I write that
speaks to you, know it is the Holy Spirit working through this ministry.
