Ken Reed-Bouley
Associate Director
Creighton Center for Service and Justice
More about me:

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1990, my wife, Jennifer, and I volunteered in Chicago and married in 1992. We have two wonderful daughters, Maya and Rosa.

We moved to Omaha in 1999 after almost ten years in Chicago. I taught at Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago for three years and worked in campus ministry at Loyola University Chicago for seven years, mainly in service, faith, and justice work. Jennifer taught theology at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.

We are very blessed to now live in the same city as Jennifer's family. We are both fortunate to love our work, Jennifer as a Professor of Theology and Coordinator of Service Learning at College of St. Mary and I as the Associate Director of the Creighton Center for Service and Justice.

Writing these reflections:

I am awe-inspired by comments I receive from people all over the world who read these daily reflections. What a grace! Knowing that I will be writing a reflection helps me to focus on a particular reading and spend more time in prayer over that text.
