Celebrating  Christmas

Daily Christmas Prayer

I definitely reflect on two considerations of today's Gospel:
1)what does it mean for each of us to heed Christ's call of "Follow me" in January 2013, and,
2)who are the people who challenge us in doing that?

Who is the Nathanael in our particular lives?
What kinds of questions do our challengers address to us to take us off course?

As I read and reflect on this Gospel story/parable that John writes, I could interpret how easily one person, Philip, responded to follow Christ; he did so even when questioned and challenged by Nathanael.

Do each of us respond as easily as Philip?
