01. How extensive? : 
 I have taught at Creighton in the English department since 1991.  I teach World Literature usually, sometimes Composition and occasionally Creative Writing.  

 
02: Background : 
 Outside school, I have a little business where I make candles, and I also sing Irish folk music in coffee houses and such.   I am a published poet and enjoy writing as a creative outlet.

 
03. Made a difference : 
 I really enjoy writing reflections for the online ministry page.  It's a way to relate personally to the scripture and to enhance my own spirituality.   Scripture can sometimes seem sort of distant, but writing these reflections helps me interact with it personally and to consider what it means and what it means to me.
