More about me:

I feel privileged to have been a part of the Creighton family for four years now, both as former staff and current student. Formerly Assistant Director of Magis Catholic Teacher Corps at Creighton, I worked to form and support new teachers in Catholic schools as they embarked on their rewarding and demanding vocation, as well as foster and strengthen the program's partnerships with Catholic schools and dioceses across the Midwest.  Currently, I am a Campaign Manager with the Steier Group, an Omaha-based firm that manages capital campaigns for churches, schools, and nonprofits across the country.
A native Nebraskan, I grew up the youngest of six children and raised by parents who modeled love and sacrifice and service to others.  After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I taught at a Catholic high school in Florida, earning my Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education.  I continued to teach in Louisiana and Puerto Rico until my wife, Amy, and I returned to our roots in Nebraska. I am pursuing my Doctor of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership at Creighton, focusing in Catholic Educational Leadership.
Amy and I have two wonderful children and enjoy visits with them to the park, the zoo, and Fontenelle Forest.  I am an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan and enjoy reading primarily nonfiction, unless it’s Hemingway!

Writing these reflections:

I have much gratitude for Creighton and its Online Ministries in offering this opportunity to be a part of this particular ministry.  I hope that God may somehow work through my words to reach those who follow these daily reflections as I, too am brought closer to Him by the words of other contributors.
