Lent is a 40 day period - from Ash Wednesday to Holy Thursday -
that is set aside to help us celebrate the Good News of Jesus' life, death and resurrection for us, with mind and heart renewed.

Outstanding support for entering into Lent deeply, with a growing relationship with Our Lord.

In addition to the Daily Reflections, we have several online resources for making a prayerful Lenten Journey.

Weekly Guide for Daily Prayer: Each week of Lent, this Guide offers an overview of the Scripture for the week and suggests very concrete ways of finding intimacy with God in the midst of our daily, busy lives. For those of us who have very little time to pray or reflect during Lent, this is the place to be refreshed and pick up a simple practice of becoming a "contemplative in the midst of action."

Daily Lenten Prayer: Each day of Lent there is a page that helps us truly enter into the Lenten spirit of that day. There is a brief opening prayer, a meditation, a link to the readings of the day, some intercessions and a closing prayer. This prayer is perfect for a consistent Lenten prayer alone, with our families or prayer group. A simple way to pray in harmony with the liturgy for each day and with others around the world.

Reflection Provoking Resources: How to prepare for Lent, how to engage my family, how to go deeper into what each week offers, even how to prayerfully cook during Lent.

  • What Can I Do Before Lent Begins?
  • The Invitation to Lent
  • Mardi Gras prayer
