More about me:

My greatest pride and joy are my 4 beautiful children. My oldest son is a recent entrepreneurship graduate of Brown University, and my oldest daughter has taken a year off college and is working full-time in quaint restaurants and ice cream shops while she better discerns what it is she wants to do with her life after spending her freshman year at Loyola University in Chicago. My next oldest, another son, is currently attending the local Jesuit prep high school and stays busy outside of school hours with football, wrestling and baseball. My youngest, another daughter, is currently immersed in the middle school experience and her favorite hobby is singing. She has been singing morning ‘til night since she was a toddler and that has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

I teach courses at Creighton at both the business undergraduate and graduate level in strategy, entrepreneurship, creativity/innovation and the vocation of business leadership with an eye on justice in a free market business environment. I also regularly teach a course on privilege and power awareness for the Justice and Peace Studies department.

I love mountains, rivers, stars, trees, thunderstorms, football, hiking, pizza and live music.

Writing these reflections:

I share my writing assignments with God and then ask Him to at some point reveal to me what He’d like me to write about my assigned passage. And then in time it hits me in one of those light bulb moments, every single time, and yet it still takes me by surprise every time it happens.
