Doll, S.J.
Men and Women for Others:
Where does this challenge come from? What does it mean for us today?
Using his special gifts as a photographer, and his
deep and personal experience of the Society of Jesus' commitment to
promote a Faith that does Justice, Fr. Doll, S.J. will tell the story
of the origin of the phrase, "Men and Women for Others."
Listen to Fr. Doll's account of the lives of a number of heroic Jesuits who shaped the vision of the Jesuit mission. See powerful scenes where Fr. Doll experienced the lives of the poor, hungering for justice, including his own eye-witness accounts of the formation of the key Jesuit documents that shape this vision of solidarity with the poor. Read the text of "Men and Women for Others," the talk that Fr. Pedro Arrupe, S.J. gave to Jesuit Alumni in Valencia, Spain, July 31st, 1973. |
