A Ministry of the Collaborative Ministry Office at Creighton University

The Creighton community has suffered a number of losses this year with the loved ones in our lives. We have lost co-workers, teachers, parents, children, siblings and dear friends.

In the month of November when the Church remembers those who have died, we pause in a special way to deal with our own sense of sadness and loss and we join the Church across the world in praying for those people. You are invited to add the names of all those who have died this year and in past years, to the Online Book of the Names of the Dead.

To add your own names, go to the Online Book of the Names of the Dead:
www.creighton.edu/CollaborativeMinistry/names

and click on the e-mail link in the top, right corner.

"The Mystery of Grief"

Tom Dowd
Longtime Boys Town Counselor.
now in private practice.

Tom specializes in bereavement counseling,
both from his professional expertise,
and from his personal experience of
deep losses in his own family.

Come and listen to Tom's moving story of
suffering and integration.

As we begin this month of November,
a time for remembering our loved ones
who have gone before us,
let us come together - with grief healed or grief
still to be healed - to support one another.

We'll learn practical skills that come from
experience and wisdom.

Come and bring a friend.

A light lunch will be served.
