Found in the first reading of Ezekiel we are reminded "if a man is virtuous-he does what is right and just... Cast away from you all the crimes you have committed, and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit." It seems easy in the moment of reflection or in church, but we are not limited to specifically these times that bring us closer to God. It is in our choices-our everyday choices-that we shape this relationship. These are choices that will bring us closer to God, but can never separate us from him. |
