I absolutely love to sing, and I am incredibly thankful that I have the opportunity to perform with the Creighton Chamber choir and to direct Creighton University's premier men's a cappella ensemble, the Creightones. I also serve as music director for Lutheran Campus Ministry. Ask my roommates whether or not I like to sing, and they will tell you that I never stop, haha. I love to read ancient literature and early Christian philosophy and theology; my favorite Christian writers and theologians are Meister Eckhart, St. Augustine, Thomas Merton, Maximos Confessor, Origen, Athanasius, and Evagrios Pontikos.

Writing These Reflections. . .

. . .serves to remind me that theology is lived; everything we learn constantly merges with our identity and propels us forward so that we might experience God in a new and beautiful way. Reflections take the inner workings of the heart and bring them into the spotlight so that they can be seen, understood, and loved.
