More about me:

I’m Kate Macan and I hail from Shawnee, KS. I enjoy eating, sleeping and running, and in my free time I like to nap (which I might add is completely different from sleeping). I also enjoy having deep, meaningful conversations about the “good stuff.”
I have a sarcastic sense of humor and always enjoy a good laugh. I am returning to Creighton after spending a summer in the Dominican Republic with the ILAC program. I look forward to seeing how I can share my experiences with others here at CU and to come to understand more fully how to live simply.

Writing these reflections:

For me, the one of the most significant chapters in the New Testament is Matthew 25, more specifically the following: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (vs. 40). My hope is writing these reflections that I can come to a greater understanding of what this verse means. Likewise, I see the reflection process as an opportunity to share and grow in the community of faith at Creighton.
