More about me:

My hometown is Whitefish Bay Wisconsin, a suburb right outside Milwaukee. During my time as a Creighton student, I have had many insightful and humbling experiences including a semester abroad in Creighton’s study abroad program in the Dominican Republic, a year as a resident advisor for the Cortina Community, and a theology class in El Salvador that I participated in this summer. I’m currently a student coordinator for the Creighton Center for Service and Justice, the Director for the fall 08 Encounter Retreat, and a member of the Spring Break Service Trip Core Team for spring 09.

Writing these reflections:

The idea of faith sharing to me is derived from the belief that every individual is blessed with revelation and insight from God. Not everyone chooses to share or express thier own ideas, insight, and wisdom with others, but every individual has the potential to share and enlighten others about their own personal faith. Every person is living in their own unique human reality, and our distinct experiences allow us to understand and comprehend God and faith in a way that is different from other people. Through faith sharing we are able to understand our faith to a greater degree, by learning from the unique truth that resides within every human. My personal faith has been enriched by the insight and personal faith sharing of many individuals. I hope that by participating in these reflections, by attempting to express the truth that resides within me, that my reflection might enrich or give solace to the faith of another.
