More about me:

I am Catholic and from Austin, TX. My parents and my two older siblings are in Texas, from Austin to Dallas to Temple. I love being at Creighton; it is definitely the right place for me. I’ve had some fantastic experiences here including my fall break service trip to The Arch in Clinton, IA and the Come Follow Me retreat last February. I’m involved in The St. Peter Canisius Society, Creighton Students for Life, Rosary Club, Shadows (Creighton’s literary magazine), theater at CU, and the Cortina Community.
I really enjoy playing tennis, which I played throughout high school. Some of my favorite things include Mass, friends, family, and God, of course, brownies when its raining, Cherry Coke, playing guitar, writing, listening to the enthusiasm of others, praying, acting, and reading. I am by no means a saint, but I enjoy trying to get there!

Writing these reflections:

To write these reflections means to help others receive a new perspective on an issue. We are often clouded by our own biases and sole perspective that we fail to see another aspect of the issue. Its extremely important to understand other’s faith in order that we can all grow with each other in our relationships with God. We are a community of people, all searching for the Truth who we long to worship. By uniting our efforts, hopefully we can be more successful.
