I was born in Taipei City, Taiwan and immigrated to America when I was 7 years old. I have lived in the U.S. ever since and have learned a sense of identity and independence for myself. I will be attending Creighton University School of Medicine next fall, with the hopes of serving the under-represented minorities in the future.
I love to play volleyball and stay active. During my free time I enjoy television shows and social activities with friends or family. I currently spend my free time volunteering for a hospice as well as HIV counseling.

Writing These Reflections:

I want to use these reflections as an opportunity for me to not only provide a deeper understanding of God for myself but also for those who are also searching for a meaningful relationship. Through my various walks in life, I have encountered obstacles and challenges that have allowed me to get to know God on a personal level. In the same way, I want to encourage my peers and others out there to live the word of God in our daily lives.
