I come from a small town in north central Minnesota called Pequot Lakes where I lived with my parents, my two brothers, and my sister.  I went to Pequot Lakes High School where I was involved in Cross Country, Baseball, Knowledge Bowl, Student Council, and a few other activities. My youth group was very active, which I enjoyed.  I helped teach a religion class after I was confirmed.

At Creighton when I’m not at class or doing homework, I am involved with the Knights of Columbus, Biology Club, and now the Student Daily Reflections, which I am really looking forward to.

Writing These Reflections:

A common stereotype exists that Catholics don’t always know their scripture very well.  I know I am guilty of this but I am looking forward to these reflections as a way of bringing scripture into my own life and giving myself a more well-rounded view of my faith tradition.  It is also my hope that my reflections may help others to develop a strengthened faith in Jesus Christ.
