We need 25 members of our Online Ministries community to agree to:

1. Buy the book, Thrift Store Saints (at a discount).

2. Read it in 6 assigned sections, during the 6 weeks of Lent.

3. Send us a 1 to 3 paragraph sharing of the graces you have received from the reading for that week.

We will invite anyone who uses our site to read the book and to read this sharing.
See this site for more information about the book and our plan.

What are we looking for?
We are not looking for a "book report." We are looking for "faith sharing." What blessings, graces, real help did you receive while reading the selected section for this week? Keep it personal, not preachy.
We'll reserve the right to edit any of the sharing for length and content.

How do I sign up?
Email us at this link to volunteer. Give us your name, state and country and your email address. We will select the first 25 volunteers and then take down this invitation. (If that link doesn't work, email us at alexa@creighton.edu, saying you want to be part of the reading group in the SUBJECT line.)

What if I'm one of the first 25 to sign up?
We will contact you, to confirm that you are one of our readers, and we will send you a schedule for reading the book and for your sharing. Then, you can purchase the book and begin the week before Lent begins, on February 22nd.

How do I purchase the book?
We hope to get an internationally diverse reading group. Check out a local, Amazon.com site in your country or region of the world. You can purchase the book, from Loyola Press, at a 20% discount at this link, using this code, LENTTSS12, when asked to add a promotional code at Loyola Press' check out cart.
The book is also available in the following digital formats:
Kindle...Sony Reader...Nook.....Kobo e-reader....Borders

If you decide not to be a member of this reading group, feel free to purchase the book and read along with us, to enhance your experience of Lent this year. It is a powerful book - one you'll want to share with others.
