A Question of Conscience:
The Murder of the Jesuit Priests
in El Salvador
A powerful videotape that tells the story behind the November 16, 1989 massacre of six Jesuits, their cook and her daughter, living at the University of Central America in El Salvador.

Juxtaposing the story of the priests, told by Jon Sobrino, S.J., their surviving colleague, and the story of their Jesuit-educated murderer, the terrible logic behind these killings is revealed.

A moving homage to the murdered priests as well as a study of the power of religious commitment and the fear and violence such a commitment can generate.
