Janine ter Kuile
I arrived at Creighton and the department of Financial Aid in 2004. I listen to and support parents and students about their financial concerns, hoping to be a calming influence as they navigate these sometimes rough waters.

More about me:

I have two beautiful grown daughters. My first loves are cooking, piano, golf and French. I taught family history via scrap booking for many years. I think it's important to investigate who you are, psychologically, physically and spiritually. One of my passions is working with Sudanese refugees here in Omaha.  I will complete a Masters in student counseling in May 2011.

Writing these reflections:

Participating in the Ignation Online Retreat led to my writing these Daily Reflections. I have studied scripture, but I discover the meaning of the stories of the Bible most at work and in my everyday life. My conversations with God reflect a discussion with a close friend who doesn’t judge me, let me down or play mind games with me; someone I trust wholeheartedly. I witness this face of Christ in other people who come into my life. Sometimes I get off the track. This is when the Holy Spirit speaks to me, through people and experiences if I am open to them.
