The Father of mercies, 
you have given me
an example of unselfish love
in the sufferings of your only Son.
Through my service of you and my neighbor
may I  receive your countless blessings.

I believe that by his dying
Christ destroyed death for ever.
May he give me everlasting life.

He humbled himself for my sake.
May I follow his example
and share in his resurrection.

May your blessing be upon me,
almighty God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
