Originally from St. Louis, I lived in Connecticut for 20 years prior to coming to Creighton University. Creighton is the fourth institution I've worked at and I firmly believe Omaha may be the best kept secret among communities in the U.S. My spare time is filled with domestic pleasures, with cooking and gardening being chief among those. I consider myself incredibly fortunate that I love my work in student affairs because it gives me a chance to be deeply involved with students at a time of incredible change and growth in their lives. Their youth and energy gives me great motivation and joy. |

| Writing these reflections:
As with most things in my life, I need to relate these reflections to
something personal and emotional. My experiences while doing the
Spiritual Exercises some years ago helped me to form the process
of being present in the readings in order to intimately experience the
meaning. I try to convey that in what I write.
