I also do a variety of consulting, workshops and seminars within the community on a variety of topics, such as teambuilding, stress management, conflict resolution, personality type, parenting and relationships;  have provided workshops and consulting for organizations, including First National Bank, Douglas County Housing Authority, Sioux City Archidiocese, Panorama, Inc., Administration of Creighton University and many others.  I am also a mother of 3 teenage boys and active in my church and community.

Writing these reflections:

Writing a reflection is an opportunity to intentionally carve some time out of a busy schedule to interact with God's word.  It's an opportunity to read a text, perhaps one that I've read a hundred times before, in a fresh way.  Scripture is so universal and yet so multi-facted that it can be examined, explored and integrated into life in countless ways.

I treasure spending some moments reflecting on how God is speaking to me at this particular point in my life.  I'm thankful for the opportunity to respond to God's word and share my thoughts with others, perhaps in ways that allow them to hear God's voice in their own lives in a new way.
