More about me:
I was born and raised in the Chicago area, and came to Creighton as an undergraduate, graduating in 1976. I was a Catholic sister for a number of years, completed a Master's Degree in Social Work, began a career as a Medical Social Worker and then completed Clinical Pastoral Education (Chaplaincy training) before "settling" into my calling as a Chaplain and Spiritual Director. I have been a Chaplain in acute care hospital settings and long term care for over 20 years, as well as a spiritual director and retreat leader before coming to my current position at Creighton. St. John's has been my parish for many years and since I also completed a Master's Degree in Christian Spirituality here, coming to Creighton was very much "coming home" for me. I love my new ministry with Pharmacy students, faculty and staff! I enjoy quilting, poetry and walking. My husband, Kim, and I have been married since 2001; we have 2 dogs and recently moved to Council Bluffs. |

Writing these reflections:
I look forward to writing reflections because I am always amazed and grateful at how the Spirit comes to me when I write, and when I read the reflections of others. |
