More about me:
I've been working at Creighton for 10 years as a member of the English department and, recently, as the writing specialist for Student Support Services as well. Although I was born and raised in New Jersey, where everyone else in my large extended family still lives, I am happy to call Omaha home. My husband and I both attended graduate school at Creighton, and, after moving around the country, we returned to Nebraska, where many in John's very large family still live. We have two twenty-something sons. In addition to my family, I love my dogs, New York pizza, sports, 19th-century British fiction, the beach, and National Public Radio. I am an EMHC for St. Pius X parish and bring communion to the residents of Maple Crest Care Center. |

Writing these reflections: I've always told my students that "writing is discovery." Putting thoughts and ideas on paper or online can help us figure things out or reveal what we still don't know. I look forward to sharing what I discover from the readings. |
