Physician Assistant, Center for Health and Counseling |
|
More about me: I graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies. I have had the opportunity to be a part of a wellness team at the Center for Health and Counseling and manage the health care needs of our students here at Creighton University since 2000. In my interaction with students, I can move beyond the medical chart to provide compassionate faith based holistic health care services. Modeling a healthy lifestyle is important to me. I enjoy running, yoga, bicycling, cooking and reading. I am also a part of the hospital and nursing home ministries at St. Leo church. I am able to reach out to Catholics who wish to receive the Eucharist or sometimes I just offer a prayer and silent reflection. I am humbled by this experience and graced with God’s gift of love with each and every interaction.

Writing these reflections: Recently I have been pondering God’s will for me in this season of my life. An invitation to write a Daily Reflection was not only exciting but timely. I look forward to seeing how God might use me as an “instrument of inspiration” in this ministry. I love sharing my faith with others. I may be the holder of the pencil, but God is the author who places the words on paper. |
