I am a junior history major enrolled in the Creighton University Army ROTC program, which is based here on our campus. I'm a member of the MACURH 2011 Conference Staff that will be coming here to campus in late October, as well as a member of the Creighton chapter of NRHH. On top of those things, I am a desk receptionist at Opus hall, a member of the Creighton Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Cortina Community. I plan on graduating and receiving a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army as a Military Intelligence officer. I am absolutely in love with Christian rock music, as well as most worship music.

Writing These Reflections. . .

. . .gives me a chance to gain a little perspective on who I am as a person. They enable me to take time out of my day to relax and think about a single thing that can branch off into a multitude of thoughts and ideas. It also allows me a simple way to see things in a different light. It gives me a chance to provide an experience to those who read my reflections in hope that they may take something from what I've said within the text of my thoughts and perhaps light a small candle in their minds and spawn an idea, or even inspire someone to give themselves a little reflection time after a long day.
