Hello! My name is Melanie Stara, and I am from Lincoln, Nebraska, where I lived for 18 years with my parents and three brothers. Now in my second year at Creighton, I have found that I love the community feeling on campus as well as all of the wonderful people that I have met in my short time here. I am currently serving as the Adoration executive in the Catholic Student Organization, as a representative on the Creighton Students Union, as a CU STAR tour guide, as part of the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, and I am also a member of the Cortina community this year. In my little free time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, being outside, and spending time with my friends and family.

Writing These Reflections. . .

. . .will hopefully be a good way to stop, sit down, and think about what God is calling me to do in my daily vocation as well as really reflect on what is going on in my life. I pray that these reflections will not only enable me to grow in my relationship with Christ but also enable other people to do the same.
