Reflections on the Daily Readings
from the Perspective of Creighton Students

The theme I see running through today’s readings is one of service.  Not just service to our fellow humans, but to God as well.  As a twenty-two year old, it’s sometimes difficult to realize everything that has been done for me, and not only focus on my achievements and take all the credit for myself.  God humbled himself enough to serve us, why can we not find it in ourselves to realize this, and realize the glory belongs with he who gave us our gifts?  We are called to serve others in all things, and by serving others we can in turn serve him.  Our talents are not something to be diminished, but something that we use to praise and serve our God and our fellow humans.

God Bless.
