More about me: I was born and raised here in Omaha and have one older sister and one younger brother, all of us three years apart. I participated in the Freshman Leadership Program and the Cortina Community here at Creighton. Also, I am involved with the Creighton Ski and Snowboard Club, Creighton Mac Users Society, Canisus Society, Summer Preview program, Campus Ministry Retreats, Phi Delta Theta, and work at the Jesuit Kitchen on campus. Some things I enjoy doing outside of school are spending time with family and friends, tennis, skiing, going to the mountains, and of course, sleeping in (when I get the rare chance.) I also love inspirational quotes; one of my current favorites: “God does not call those who are equipped for the job. He equips the ones He calls.” - Thomas Akerman |

Writing these reflections: I had heard about these reflections several semesters ago, but never really thought of myself as an author for them. However, when invited to be a writer, I was excited. My faith has always been a huge part of my life, and I am always looking for new ways to grow in my faith, and this seemed to fit perfectly. But more importantly, I hope that the readers can also benefit from these reflections! I hope that we can both grow with each other, together through this community, closer to Jesus and closer to living out the plan that He has for our lives. |
