The gospel for today is filled with an abundance of
verbs such as “eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting,
and building.” As the saying goes, “actions speak louder
than words.” What are our actions saying about our love for
Christ and how are we acting as witnesses to the truth? Our Actions
tell others who we are, what we stand for, and what we hope for.
Further in the gospel Jesus says, “Where the body is, there
also the vultures will gather.” This speaks to the weakness
of the flesh. |
