It seems as if it is that time of year again. The time
when classes get completely overwhelming with projects and finals,
people surround us, and every night has a new commitment that brings
a new challenge. As much as this time of year should be joyous with
the U.S. Thanksgiving just past, I can't help but think in our society,
we are so stressed with everything the holidays bring that we forget
to be thankful. I know I do: with already three Thanksgiving meals
and one more yet this weekend, the next few weeks will be very challenging
with transitions, last chances for my classes, and the disappointment
of not seeing people I want to celebrate with. We all are guilty
of losing sight of what really matters and need new beginnings. |
