Doctoral Student, interdisciplinary leadership program at Creighton University

Vivian Amu
More about me:

I am originally from Nigeria, West Africa. I have lived in Nebraska for over 20 years. I am currently a doctoral student in the interdisciplinary leadership program at Creighton University. I am an enthusiastic student and a lifelong learner. My Jesuit education has thought me to live a more reflective life.

I have always had trouble public speaking, but when I write, it is like free falling into the arms of God. What I enjoy most about writing and contributing reflections is the opportunity to show that we can all seat with the word of God and see ourselves in the scriptures. I find freedom, life, and beauty in writing reflections. I am also a contributor to Living Faith devotionals.

I enjoy cooking, watching movies, and reading a good mystery novel. I have read all books written by Agatha Christie and all books in the Sherlock Holmes series. I enjoyed every one of them.

Writing these reflections:

I usually have a lot to say but I have only just begun to write more reflectively especially about scripture.  I am excited about this opportunity and I am grateful.
