Beth Samson
Pastoral Minister: Faith Formation Coordinator in Campus Ministry

Beth Samson
More about me:

I am originally from California and moved to Omaha to attend Creighton University as an undergraduate student. In those four years I was transformed by Jesuit education and fell in love with the Midwest. Upon graduating, I became the fourth generation in my family to earn a Creighton diploma. After a year of post-graduate service in Denver, CO, I returned to Creighton to study in the MA in Ministry program and eventually was hired full in time in my current position in May 2016. I enjoy that my ministry allows me to form student leaders and support interfaith offerings in our community, among many other things. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, sharing meals with friends, and continuing to develop my water-coloring skills.

Writing these reflections:

Reflecting for the Online Ministries allows me to consider the readings in light of my own experience, my work with undergraduate students, and what is happening in our world. It also requires that I sit down, slow down, and spend time with how God may be revealing Godself.
