Professor of Music, Music Coordinator

I am a Professor of Music in the Department of Fine & Performing Arts where I conduct the Symphonic Band and Symphony Orchestra, and teach Foundations of Music, advanced Music Theory and Conducting.  I have been on the faculty since 1997.

I have participated in several on campus Jesuit Community workshops and participated in a Conversations trip to New Orleans with other faculty members.  These activities have helped focus my work and brought a greater sense of cura personalis to my daily work.

My wife, Laurie, and I have four children, Kristin, Kevin, Megan and Brian.

I am humbled and honored to write for the Creighton’s Online Ministries.  I hope that my brief reflection is rewarding.
