Greg O'Meara, S.J.
I am Rector of the Jesuit Community and Professor of Law.

More about me:

I am new here.  I started on July 31st (2013).  Before coming to Creighton I had been teaching at Marquette Law School since my ordination in June of 2002.

I really enjoy hanging out with my Jesuit brothers here at Creighton.  They are funny, smart, and kind men who keep me feeling grateful for being called to serve them.  I am a runner, and I like reading history in my free time.  That was something my father always did.  There is something about us becoming like our parents as we get older. In my case, that is a very good thing.

Writing these reflections:

I have preached a fair bit at Mass.  I have read these online reflections in the past when I am trying to pull together my own thoughts before presiding at liturgy.  I guess it's time I try to pay back the many suggestions I have gleaned from here.  Thanks to all who contribute to this ministry.  I am grateful.
