Lord,
send down your abundant blessings upon me
as I devoutly contemplate the passion and death of your Son
in the sure hope of the resurrection.

Grant me pardon and bring me comfort.

May my faith grow stronger and
my eternal salvation be assured.

I ask you this, through Jesus,
who gave his life for me.
