I've been at Creighton since 1957. Married first to Barbara, who entered eternal life October 2006. Together we had 7 children and 14 grandchildren. Remarried to a friend of long standing, Janet Barger-Lux, January 2008.

I am a founding member of Omaha Archdiocesan Commission on the Liturgy; I read extensively (time permitting) in liturgical & scriptural theology.

For many years, I have led the celebration of the Hour of Evening Prayer (Vespers) at St. Johns Sunday evenings.
