God loves us; this is the truth. It is written everywhere, from the beginning of Genesis until the end of the book of Revelations. Yet like a rebellious child, we can often forget that His love may come in different forms, some more pleasant than others. We sometimes equate love with good things, not hurtful or troubling things. In fact we may sometimes even take it so far as to blame God from time to time, thinking that we know best what to do with our lives.

But despite our anger, today’s passages remind us that God is forever in control, whether you like it or not! He reminds us that no matter how we suffer, He always has a plan for us, to make our days as numerous as the stars in the sky. It can be difficult to see His ultimate plan when we are in the pain, but I hope that today may be an encouragement that He is there. So don’t worry, and let God by letting go.
