Celebrating the Spiritual Roots of
Creighton University
An Introduction
St. Ignatius encouraged the early Jesuits to write frequent letters to each other.
He said his desire was that this communication about who they were, what they were doing, and what it all meant,
would promote among the early Society of Jesus "a union of minds and hearts."
It is our hope that these brief essays about our Creighton mission and identity
will support such a union among us.
We also hope that anyone seeking to learn more about Creighton
and the gift of the Ignatian tradition will find these resources helpful.
