Hello readers! I hope this season is treating you all well! In today’s Gospel reading, I am astounded by the depth of the love that Jesus has for us. Jesus tells us “As the Father loves me, so I also love you,” and this blows my mind. Obviously, we hear quite often about Jesus’ love for us, but because of how often we hear about it, we can become desensitized to it. If I really stop and think about it, it is so amazing. He willingly came to die for us. For each of us. He came for you, and me, and all the people living in countries far away from us; people we don’t even know. He came to save our mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters. |
