About Us

Creighton University’s Online Ministries endeavors to support and deepen individual and communal relationships with Jesus and animate the University’s Jesuit, Catholic mission through access to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Scripture reflections structured around the liturgical year, and myriad Ignatian prayer resources.

In 1998, when the worldwide web was just 8 years old, Online Ministries began. This site was the inspiration and labor of love of Fr. Andy Alexander, SJ, then vice president for mission who retired in spring 2025, and Maureen McCann Waldron, then director of collaborative ministries who retired in 2016. Today, the ministry is sustained by Creighton’s Division of Mission & Ministry and supported by dozens of Creighton University faculty, staff, Jesuits and retirees who serve as reflection writers.

We are blessed by and abundantly grateful for the global community who engages with this ministry. We pray it is a source of support and an avenue for grace in individuals’ and communities’ journeys with of faith and relationships with Christ.
