Praying the Prayer of the Church
for the Weeks of Ordinary Time

This is the Prayer the Church uses this week of Ordinary Time
for the Liturgy of the Hours
and the Opening Prayer for the Masses of this week.
We can reflect upon it, pray it ourselves, with our family,
or adapt it for our concrete desires this week.

Weekly Guide for Daily Prayer

The Collect for Week 34 - the Last of Ordinary Time and
Solemnity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

Almighty ever-living God,
whose will is to restore all things
in your beloved Son, the King of the universe,
grant, we pray,
that the whole creation, set free from slavery,
may render your majesty service
and ceaselessly proclaim your praise.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
